Detailed description of every step
The following sections will guide you step by step on how to use this website to embark on a medical tourism trip to China. If you have further questions or need customized services, please feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience. Thank you!
Step 1: D-I-Y Search using resources on our platform
1. Understand the Latest Chinese Visa and Entry Policies
Please click this link “Visa Guide” to access the latest policies, and then choose your visa & entry type.

2. Choose Your Medical Travel Destination
We have carefully selected 9 cities across different regions of China for you to choose from: Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Haikou, and Sanya, with brief introductions to the medical and tourism resources of these cities. It is recommended that you read the articles above first and then select your destination based on your travel preferences.
If you want to quickly determine the best destination, we suggest you directly choose Beijing and Shanghai, as they offer the best medical and tourism resources in China.
3. Find Your Target Hospital
We have carefully selected 105 of the best hospitals located in the above-mentioned 9 cities and listed the specialties of these hospitals.

Tips: It is recommended that you prioritize hospitals with the [IMD] label. These hospitals usually have an International Medical Department that provides more convenient and efficient services for International Patients, such as foreign language communication, personal guidance, and VIP wards. However, most hospitals without the [IMD] label also have Special Outpatient Clinics that can serve foreigners, and you can usually receive very good service, although it may be slightly inferior to that of IMD.
If you are not sure which department to visit, you can check Symptom-to-Department Mapping to make decision.

In addition, you can search and select the appropriate city, hospital, and department based on your medical condition. You can also see the usual duration of the patient care cycle for these diseases on this page, so that you can better plan your trip.

Besides, you can find what types of diseases suitable for treatment in China and learn the cost and time advantage in China’s hospitals.

If you want to quickly determine the best hospital, please go to Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Xi’an, Haikou, and Sanya, with brief introductions to the medical and tourism resources of these cities. We have specifically listed the best hospitals in each city. These hospitals are usually general hospitals that can treat most diseases.
