As of March 2025, China has established ​full bilateral visa exemption agreements with ​26 countries (including the newly added ​Samoa, effective April 2, 2025). Below are the details:

  • Asia (8): United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, Armenia, Maldives, Kazakhstan, Singapore, Thailand, Georgia
  • Europe (7): Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, San Marino, North Macedonia, Montenegro
  • Africa (2):Mauritius, Seychelles
  • Oceania (4): Fiji, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Samoa (effective April 2, 2025)
  • North America (4):Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Bahamas, Dominica
  • South America (1):Suriname
    (Note: Uzbekistan’s agreement is signed but not yet effective.)
  • Eligibility: Ordinary passport holders (diplomatic/official passports may have separate agreements).
  • ​Stay Duration: Up to ​30 days per entry, with cumulative stays not exceeding ​90 days within 180 days.
  • ​Activities Allowed: Tourism, business, family visits, short-term exchanges (work/study require separate visas).
  • ​Implementation: Immediate entry without prior visa application.
